Are you interested in coming along to try us out?

We would be delighted to hear from you. Please contact us here.

Membership Fees / Costs

Please note: we are a NOT-FOR-PROFIT Community Choir.

We were established in 2016 by Kirsty Andrew and are led by our very creative and talented Musical Director Jonny Fitzpatrick. We keep our costs as low as possible.

Our member fees are £20.00 per month, paid by STANDING ORDER on the 1st of every month.   (You can cancel this at any time if you wish to leave). Once we have received your first Standing Order payment, your name will appear on our member's sign-in register.

Your first session with us is completely free.

If you'd like to try us out for a few sessions before joining, single rehearsal sessions are £7.50. These can be paid at rehearsals by debit / credit card. This is offered as a temporary arrangement until you decide whether to join.

Once you have been along to a few sessions and you decide you'd like to join us (and we really hope you do!) you'll need to set up a Standing Order to pay £20.00 on the1st of every month. Our admin can provide you the bank details - just email info@wargravecommunitychoir.co.uk

We don't wish our fees to exclude anyone...

So please Contact Us if you feel you can't pay these fees. We are a Community Choir and we wish no-one to be excluded. We offer a generous bursary scheme for members who are unable to meet our fees. Your enquiry will be treated in the strictest confidence and sensitivity by our choir's administrator. You will be just as welcome as every member has always been.

What does your membership fee pay for?

Not only are you supporting many local young musicians by funding essential music bursaries, your fees also contribute to the many expenses involved in running a Community Choir, this is not an exhaustive list, but includes;

Professional Fees (inc Choir Manager, Admin & Musical Director fees), venue hire, website server fees, Zoom fees, Social Media fees, public liability insurance fees, track recording, music score licence fees, performance fees, marketing, handbills, concert planning, management and administration costs, LOTS of ink cartridges, printing costs, paper (music scores & registration forms etc).. there are other costs, but you get the idea!
