Let's Sing 2020
I'VE NEVER SUNG IN A CHOIR BEFORE! - No problem!
We would love to hear from you! You don't need any singing experience to join in, just bring a bottle of water, a pencil and a sense of humour! You'll quickly make new friends of all ages.
I DON'T LIVE IN WARGRAVE, CAN I STILL JOIN?
Yes, absolutely! Many of our members live in surrounding towns and villages.
I CAN'T ATTEND EACH WEEK - IS THAT OK?
Many of our members lead busy lives, so they just come along when they can. It's a very relaxed, community atmosphere, lots of laughter and always great fun, yet Jonny still manages to create an amazing sound from us all!
WHAT DO YOU SING?
Our Musical Director composes our songs from our own suggestions, so they are unique and suit our mixed ability and experience. We sing a mix of modern songs from popular bands like Coldplay, ELO, Queen & Elbow to name a few, as well as other genres like gospel and big hits from cinema or musicals, e.g. The Greatest Showman and Les Miserables as well as some classical songs too.
DO I HAVE TO TAKE PART IN PERFORMANCES?
No, it's perfectly fine with us if you don't wish to perform, we just want you to enjoy your singing with us, whether that's just in rehearsals or in front of a crowd. You choose.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Please see 'How to Join' for full details on costs, although we are entirely a self-funding choir, we have tried to make it affordable for all keeping costs low, offering great value as well as building in a little profit to help support local young musicians with opportunities to apply for music bursaries.

Fun at Wargrave Festival 2019
Through our membership and fundraising, we support local music activities which help bring music to those where it needed the most. This is facilitated by 'Music & Me' who offer young musician's bursaries, music in community care and subsidised music tuition in our local area.
